To style this party we combined my Fiesta Party decorations and Lauren’s Fiesta Balloon Garland with traditional Mexican textures and accent pieces. Other decorations included a mini cactus piñata by Lula Flora Designs and cocktail napkins by Ellie and Piper Co.
Nothing takes the pressure off of hosting like self-serve stations! Consequently, we recommend creating as many “bars” as possible throughout your celebration such as a Taco Bar, Margarita Bar, Tequila Bar, Churro Bar or Dip Bar for example. Use tent cards to label the food you’re serving. They’re also a great way to add decor to any buffet!
Two staple decorations for creating a festive party atmosphere are decorative signs and banners! Decorative signs help guests navigate your party, while banners help set the tone for your fun celebration! Think outside the box when it comes to banners since they make excellent decor for a variety of places such as chandeliers and table fronts!

It’s hard to imagine a fiesta party without a margarita in hand, am I right?! Mix up a large batch of margaritas in a pitcher or drink dispenser so that guests can help themselves! Make your fiesta bar even more inviting with a Margarita Bar sign and by providing glasses pre-rimmed with salt also with a lime slice inside!
Some guests may want more customization so a self-serve margarita station featuring a bowl with lime wedges, salt and toothpicks is another great option! Decorative cocktail napkins add a fun and festive flare!
Love one of the decorations in my collection but want it customized? Not a problem! Just message me to get started as I would love to help you personalize your celebration!
If you want to simplify things even further, serving pre-mixed, single-serve canned cocktails like these margaritas by Beagans 1806 is another excellent option! Unlike most ready-to-drink cocktails, these babies are full-strength and delicious straight out of the can!

These 3-section trays and larger 7 inch trays from Dollar Tree make setting up a Taco Bar a breeze! Fill the smaller trays with festive fixings such as diced onions, green chilies, tomatoes, jalapeños, back beans and yellow corn! Use the larger trays for the bulkier additions such as lettuce and shredded cheese. These Taco Holders from Amazon help hold tacos in place as guests add their toppings. Provide taco shells pre-filled with ground meat to facilitate the serving process. Buffets like these are also a fun way to get guests to mingle and interact at your party!
There’s an expression “a party without cake is just a meeting” and we couldn’t agree more except we subbed the cake with donuts! Looking for a fun way to serve them? Spray paint a mug rack tree green and hot glue 1-2 faux florals to it, which transforms it into a cactus donut display! Other sweet treats that are sure to be a hit are cookies, candies and sliced fruit! In regards to fruit, we recommend serving sliced mangos and watermelon in individual dishes next to a container of Chile Lime seasoning! These adorable cactus cups were a seasonal Dollar Tree find, which we used as additional decor throughout the party!
