To style this brunch I combined tropical palm and monstera leaf graphics with gold and soft pink accents. After laying down my palm leaf table cover from Michaels, I created a table runner to help breakup the busy pattern by folding a gold tablecloth that I already had at home. Finding new ways to reuse old decorations from prior parties is a creative challenge that I always enjoy! After throwing Phill’s 30th birthday Luau last Summer, I had a lot of leftover faux Monstera leafs so this was the perfect opportunity to reuse them as a base for my centerpiece. To help pull together all of my pink accents, I used this floral pom decoration from Dollar Tree, anchored by 2 gold confetti candle holders from Hobby Lobby.
For my place settings I used gold chargers and pink paper plates from Dollar Tree, palm leaf accent plates from Michaels, gold napkins from Amazon and champagne flutes from HomeGoods. These champagne flutes were an exciting find since they’re elegant but also made of plastic, which makes them break-proof! Score!
Before heading to the store I always shop my house, which is where I found these spare pink tassels and ribbon that I made into napkin rings!
For place cards, I used the editable, plumeria tent cards from my Tropical Luau Collection. These also make great food labels if you’re serving a buffet.
For party favors, I added decorative labels to Jar Candles I purchased at Dollar Tree. As my gift to you, download these FREE candle labels here.
Hanging banner flags from the chandelier above my table has become my new favorite thing so I added a few of the plumeria accent flags from my Luau Collection banner, which match the plumeria place cards.
When I said I had some leftover Monstera leafs from Phill’s party, I really meant it…like a box full haha! After seeing wire wreath frames at Dollar Tree, inspiration struck and I just had to turn these leaves into a tropical aloha wreath! It was simpler to put together than it looks. If you’d like to make your own, check out my step by step tutorial here! I really love how this wreath turned out and plan to keep it up through Summer!
