SUPPLIES
WHAT YOU NEED:
✔ Candy Melts (Yellow & Cocoa Chocolate)
✔ Rice Krispies Treats (homemade or store bought)
✔ Pineapple Ice Cube Tray
✔ Cookie Pop Sticks
✔ Clear Treat Bags & Twist Ties
✔ Luau Collection Cupcake Toppers
STEP 1
Melt your yellow chocolate in a double boiler on the stove or in a microwave until smooth (be sure to use a microwave-safe dish).
STEP 2
Cut off the tip of a Ziplock bag or use a pastry bag to pipe the melted chocolate into the pineapple molds. Set the filled pineapple mold on something sturdy and flat in the freezer for 15-20 mins until the chocolate has completely set.
STEP 3
Place your Rice Krispies Treats evenly spaced apart, onto a baking sheet lined with wax or parchment paper.
STEP 4
Melt the cocoa chocolates as instructed in STEP 1, then use another Ziplock or pastry bag to pipe the chocolate onto the lower half of each Rice Krispies Treat in a zigzag pattern. Allow time for the chocolate to completely set.
STEP 5
Carefully pop the pineapple chocolates out of their mold. Use a dab of yellow chocolate to secure a pineapple to each Rice Krispies Treat. Allow time for chocolate to set.
Push a cookie stick into one of the short sides of each treat, place them into treat bags and secure bags closed with twist ties, adding the optional cupcake toppers as decoration.
