Looking for a fun way to tie pinwheels into your party decor? Use our 3” circular printables (these are our patriotic cupcake toppers) punch a hole in the middle and attach them to the center of your pinwheels with a little scotch tape!
When it comes to patriotic decor, I’m a fan of all things rustic, which inspired my newest printable party collection! I love how these napkins and this bow from Dollar Tree coordinate perfectly with my printable banner!
Banners are my favorite type of printable because you can use them to decorate a variety of areas throughout your celebration or home! I added these patriotic banner flags to the front of my dessert cart, on the backsplash of my beverage bar and on the chandelier above my dining table!
If you’re a fellow fan of this rustic patriotic look, you can’t go wrong combining elements like raw wood, burlap, metal and crochet lace into your decor! For my pattern lovers, I highly recommend incorporating plaid!
For my tablescape I started with a rustic lace table runner then added a plaid handkerchief on top to accent my white, wooden “Liberty” centerpiece. Lighting is so important when creating a festive atmosphere and I’m a big fan of candles on my dinner table so these blue glass votives were perfect! You can never have enough sparkle when celebrating occasions such as the 4th of July and I felt these battery operates wooden star lights added just the right amount!
Reusable is a must when it comes to the type of drinkware, plates and utensils I use when entertaining! If you’re looking for recommendations, Mason Jars or Glass Milk Bottles are my top picks to use for beverages. I really enjoy finding new ways to dress up my drinks, which can easily be done with festive straws and printable Mason Jar Wraps!
In regards to plates, I always start with my basic white china as a base set off by a festive melamine, ceramic or metal accent dish! These nickel-plated metal dishes were a great and affordable find and I love how they accent my crochet lace napkins! I love napkin rings but don’t own many so I decided to make my own out of the same handkerchief I used in my centerpiece, which really helped tie the entire tablescape together!
In efforts to get my guests to mingle, I always use my printable tent cards as place cards, which also make excellent food labels if you’re serving a dinner or dessert buffet!

When it comes to celebrating the Good Ol’ U.S.A. you can’t seem to go wrong with serving hot dogs and hamburgers! Try mixing things up by creating a “BBQ Bar,” full of a variety of toppings your guests can choose to add, from blue cheese and bacon bits to deep fried onion pieces and Jalapeños!
Whenever I entertain I create multiple stations of food and beverages to keep the party moving and my guests mingling! Antique tea carts or bar carts made excellent dessert trollies! To decorate my cart I used a lace table runner as a base then added my framed printable dessert table sign and pinwheels, which I anchored with white marble stones from Dollar Tree in a mason jar wrapped with ribbon also from Dollar Tree. Sparkler Tags are adorable on actual sparklers but in this case I used them on my chocolate pretzel sparklers! To display the sparkler treats I anchored them with more white marble stones in a tin cutlery caddy, which I accented with a burlap bow from Dollar Tree.
Dessert Table Tip: Placing cupcakes in festive accent dishes at various heights adds visual interest and impact to any dessert display! I got these star dishes and cupcake stand from “Bullseye’s Playground” at Target. Cupcake Toppers are another fun way to dress up cupcakes while creating additional decor for your dessert display!
